Nancy Collins has been adjunct flute instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay since 1986. She has a masters degree in flute pedagogy from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied with Karen Yonovitz. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where her principal teacher was James Grine. She is currently a member of 'Sounds of Silver' flute ensemble and has performed with numerous area ensembles including the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra and Civic Symphony of Green Bay. Nancy has maintained a private flute studio for over 20 years, and has had numerous high school students receive college scholarship offers, exemplary ratings on solos at WSMA state festivals, and qualify as WSMA state honors ensemble members. Two of her students have been invited to perform on the honors recital at the WSMA convention in Madison.
