October 9Spring & Summer 2024 timetable review by RO and Associate Deans (October 9th through October 15th)
October 15Requests due to Provost for new 131 funded positions (subject to projected enrollment growth)

October 31The Vice Chancellor and Chancellor group will meet by this date to determine what instructional positions will be funded through 131

November 3 or November 10Recommendation/approval from the Unit Chair for Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor promotion due to the appropriate Dean through BP Logix
November 15RO syncs Fall 2024 J-Term 2025, Spring 2025, Summer 2025 terms into CLSS
November 17Requested promotion recommendations from Dean sent to Personnel Council & Committee of Six
December 15Programmatic and curricular changes submitted to Courseleaf, approved at the unit level and started into workflow

January 15Programmatic and curricular changes approved by the Deans. Other catalog changes submitted to Courseleaf. Narratives/overviews started into workflow

February 29Faculty send lab mod requests to Unit Chair/Director for review
March 1Merit evaluations for NEW faculty and Teaching Professors hired in August due in appropriate Dean's office
March 4Fall 2024 and J-Term 2025 timetable review by RO and Associate Deans (March 4 through March 14)
March 8Emeritus nomination letters due from Unit( for faculty) or Supervisor( for staff) to Dean(faculty) or Divisional Leader(staff, if nominated by someone other than the Divisional Leader)

  • Catalog published
  • Publish Fall 2024 Schedule of Classes
  • Publish J-Term 2025 Schedule of Classes
  • Summer 2024 registration begins
  • Unit Chairs/Directors rank their area's requests using the lab mod summary sheet and submit to Dean/Division head

  • Emeritus nomination letters signed by this date by Dean (for faculty) or Divisional Leader (for staff)

  • Emeritus nomination letters signed by this date by Provost (for faculty) or Area Leader (for staff)
  • University Staff, Non-instructional Academic Staff and Limited employee performance evaluations due in HR
  • Deans to report renewals to Provost
  • Sabbatical submissions for 2025/2026 due in the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs office
March 29
  • Each Dean/Division head ranks their area's lab mod requests & submits to the review committee via TEAMS
April 1
  • Fall 2024 priority registration begins
  • Final Emeritus status letters due from Chancellor's office to the candidates. This notification will also cc SOFAS and HR.
  • First day lab mod review committee (Deans, CIO) will review requests.
April 12Lab mod review committee sends recommendations to the Provost
April 28Chancellor sends recommendation for promotions to Board of Regents
May 11Spring 2024 Commencement
Early MayLetters regarding lab mod awards will go out to faculty prior to the end of the Spring semester
