Arie and Sandy DeWaal Scholarship
The Arie and Sandy DeWaal Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 by Arie DeWaal, a 1972 regional analysis graduate from UW-Green Bay, and his wife Sandy. The award is given to the outstanding student (or students) in Environmental Policy and Planning. Students interested in applying:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay with Junior or Senior standing and at least one remaining semester before degree completion;
- Must have a declared major in Environmental Policy and Planning;
- Submit a resume which highlights coursework in the major and activities related to the major, including internships, volunteer activities, and involvement in the community;
- Submit an application essay written by the student, which is no more than two pages typed, and double-spaced, which details the student's interest in Environmental Policy and Planning and future plans in the field.
