Frank Byrne Memorial Scholarship
The Frank Byrne Memorial Award is named after a founding member of the Regional Studies faculty. This award is given to the outstanding student (or students) majoring in one of the interdisciplinary programs of Public and Environmental Affairs to support their field research activity.
To be considered for this award, students must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay with Junior or Senior standing and at least one remaining semester before degree completion;
- Have declared a major in one of the interdisciplinary programs of Public and Environmental Affairs, and need assistance to help defray the cost of field work/research.
- Submit a current resume listing coursework completed in the major and related work (e.g., internship experience, volunteer activities, involvement in the community);
- Submit a statement of research goals and expected use of funds from the award (no more than two pages typed, and double spaced).
