Opportunities Galore

We focus on field experience to help you spark change.

At UW-Green Bay, we are deeply connected to the community we serve. Numerous community partners mean you have the opportunity to complete field education, which is similar to a social work internship, in a variety of settings. Through our comprehensive program that integrates field education with coursework, you’ll be prepared to obtain state certification and pursue a variety of career paths.

Substance Abuse

There’s a massive stigma around substance abuse in our society, so the problem is two-fold: there aren’t enough resources in place to help people who are struggling, and people who are struggling don’t feel like they can seek help because of the stigma surrounding their addiction. With an emphasis in substance abuse, you can help address this problem and help people in your community.
