Sara Greenwood joined the UW-Green Bay social work faculty in summer 2020 as Lecturer and MSW Field Coordinator. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in psychology and earned her MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social Work with concentrations in interpersonal practice and management of human services. Sara currently holds a LMSW- Clinical and Macro practice license in the State of Michigan.

Previously, Sara worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs focusing efforts to implement and deliver integrated behavioral health services within primary care clinics nationwide and providing direct integrated behavioral health services to Veterans. She has experience working in substance use disorders clinics and academic student services. Her training has included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving Training, Motivational Interviewing, facilitation and implementation strategies, and mentoring. Her professional interests include improving access to health care, collaborative care, implementation and delivery of evidence-based practices, brief interventions and competency-based training. She teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
