Applied Track

The Applied Track is intended for those interested in working with athletes, musicians, business professionals, exercisers, and other performers. Students on this track will take courses that provide the theoretical foundation on performance improvement and behavior change, in addition to other areas related to SEPP. These courses will prepare them to develop the knowledge and interpersonal skills to successfully work with these clients, as well as apply for the certification as a mental performance consultant through AASP, after completing the minimum number of supervised hours.

Our program has two faculty members who hold the Certified Mental Performance Consultant® certification and are eligible to supervise novice practitioners seeking to pursue this same certification.

Below you can find the proposed curriculum for the Applied Track. Internship placements may include community partners such as Green Bay District Schools, Bellin Health Titletown, and Aurora Baycare.
