Each day we're on this planet is an event to enjoy.

You don't have to wait for Earth Day to harvest the latest sustainability news and events. Like us on Facebook or view our latest efforts by following us on Instagram. Our events are as varied as a field of wildflowers—so browse our garden of gatherings designed to educate, entertain and enact change. Earth Month

Earth Day is observed each year on April 22 to raise awareness for sustainability and show support for protecting our planet. Join these events to take action, celebrate and learn more about the Earth.

Campus Cleanup, meeting  location-Phoenix park in Residence Life

April 22, 2026 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.,

After the accumulation of trash over the winter months, let's do our part to clean up the campus. SEED will provide all of the materials, but feel free to bring gloves if you have them. Following the cleanup event, feel free to join the rest of the group as they head over to the University Theater to view the film premiere of "The Natural World of the Bay."

Compost Giveaway

April 25, 2026 from 9:00a.m.-3:00 p.m., Wood Hall Parking Lot

Free compost to anyone in the community who is interested. Bring your own buckets, bins or truck beds, and take as much as you can shovel!

Film Premiere: 'The Natural World of the Bay'

April 22, 2026 at 6 p.m., University Theater

Attend the premier viewing of Dan Larson's film about the Green Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) as a fundraiser for UW-Green Bay Water Science programs. The event will support student scholarships and the Lower Fox River Watershed Monitoring Program. There is no mandatory fee to attend and students are free. But, a “Pay-As-You-May” with a suggested $8 per person donation is suggested. Make your donation when you register to attend the premiere.
