The Hmong Studies Center supports public lectures, research seminars, and other cultural events serving Hmong students and the Hmong community in the greater Green Bay region. This includes a lecture series that will bring distinguished scholars and Hmong professionals to UW-Green Bay each semester. Activities for the 2012-2013 academic year will be listed here.

Fall 2013

Our speakers for the Fall Semester will include Dr. Chia Youyee Vang, Associate Professor of History, UW-Milwaukee. Dr. Vang is Coordinator of the Hmong Diaspora Certificate Program and author of Hmong America: Reconstructing Community in Diaspora.
