Marketing Strategy and Consulting

Marketing Strategy Banner imageThe Office of Marketing and University Communication (M/UC) offers a wide array of services for concepting and developing a strategic framework that will support the creation of successful marketing campaigns. Using an integrated marketing strategic approach, we work with clients through concept visioning, needs assessment and clarification of goals to formulate campaigns and produce assets that help clients to achieve their goals.

How do I start the strategic process?

As with most other service requests in M/UC, the process starts with submitting a project request form. Once this form is submitted, a project manager will be assigned and a meeting set to discuss the project. This meeting will produce a strategy with timelines for the project. As part of the strategic mix, we will review and determine:

Planning

  • Size and scope of your project
  • Goals and objectives for the project. What do you want this campaign to accomplish?
  • Geographic area(s) to be covered and specific audience(s) to be targeted
  • Timeline for the campaign
  • Budget for the project

Deliverables

Media and purchased marketing assets needed for the project may include:
  • Printed materials
  • Digital advertising
  • Broadcast advertising
  • Outdoor promotion
  • Web development
  • Email marketing
  • Photography and video
  • Social media
