Management Student Organizations
Orgs open Doors
Every future manager knows the value of a good organization.
The benefits of joining clubs on campus are exponential – you can network, boost your resume, get more work experience and connect with like-minded people.
Future Manager Must-Joins
Pursuing hobbies or exploring new interests is important. But to stand out to a future employer, joining an organization related to your major is essential.
Student Association for Management (SAM)
SAM is a management-focused organization to help prepare you for a future in leadership. We host speakers, business panels, company tours and even bonfires and bowling. Join us to build your networking skills while having fun!
Student Run Business Organization (SRBO)
Start running a business before you even get your degree by joining our Student Run Business Organization. The goal for this club is to launch an on-campus business located at the former Shorewood Golf Course Clubhouse.
SAM Research Group
The Student Association of Management has a subgroup that focuses on management research. In the group, you can conduct research and apply management theories to increase your knowledge and improve your resume. You might even earn a publication before graduation. Students have been awarded Best Paper at the Midwest Academy of Management Conference, and had their paper published in the Journal of Managerial Issues.
Phoenix Leadership Program
Ready to develop your leadership chops? A select number of students are accepted into this semester-long training experience to build new skills and network with local professionals. At the end of the semester, you'll earn a certificate of completion, all at no cost.
