Graduation

Congratulations!

Here you’ll find information on degree requirements, how to apply for graduation, degree and commencement information, and the senior fee.

What is the senior fee?

The senior fee is used to cover academic record and security related costs including records maintenance, data storage, degree conferral, diploma production, diploma covers, and associated mailing costs. All students are charged the one-time, non-refundable $45 senior fee once they reach 84 earned credits. Questions regarding this fee should be addressed to gboss@uwgb.edu.

How do I know if I am ready to graduate?

Check your degree progress report to ensure you satisfy all requirements for degree residency and your majors and minors. If questions remain about graduation requirements, see your faculty advisor.

Reading your degree progress report is easy! Check out this quick “How to” video here.

Will I graduate with honors?

The criteria used to determine if you will graduate with honors can be seen here.

When will I get my diploma?

At the end of the semester in which you graduate the Registrar’s Office will review your academic requirements to ensure you have satisfied all necessary requirements. If you have, they will award your degree and mail you your official diploma. Visit the Registrar site for more information about the date of degree and timeframe for receiving diplomas.

How do I make sure I can walk in the graduation ceremony?

When you apply for graduation you can also sign up for the ceremony. View the commencement page for details on your ceremony.
