This group promotes an appreciation of diversity through the practice and performance of African-style dancing and drumming. Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the abolition of slavery in the United States. Green Bay’s Juneteenth celebration is hosted by NEWAAMA. The 2013 celebration’s time and location have not yet been determined.
