Student Worker Positions

Camps & Youth Programming Student Worker- Summer

The Camps Office is seeking to hire (1) student worker for the summer 2024. Student employees will be assigned to assist with preparation of all UWGB day camps, all UWGB overnight camps, preparation for 3rd Party Camp reservations, and more. Some nights, weekends and holidays may be required for special events and camps. Pay starts at $12.25 per hour.

Requirements: Must be a current UWGB student, and have good interpersonal communication, organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to respond to campers of all ages, college age students and staff in a positive manner, be willing to work as a team member, and be able to perform physical labor such as cleaning and lifting (up to 50 pounds).

First Nations Camps & Youth Programming Student Worker- Summer

The Camps Office is seeking to hire (1) First Nations student worker for the summer to support the Camp Office. This student employee will be assigned to assist with preparation of all UWGB Oneida camps and more. Some nights, weekends and holidays may be required for special events and camps. Pay starts at $12.25 per hour.

Graduate Student Position

The Camps Office is seeking a Master's or Doctoral-level graduate assistant to support First Nations outreach and program management. 

First Nations Camps & Youth Programming Graduate Assistant

The Camps Office is seeking to hire (1) First Nations Graduate Assistant for the Academic Year 2024-2025, to support the Camps Office. This graduate assistant will develop STEM-based youth programming (for youth, for 2nd-11th grade) to meet the needs and desires of the Oneida Nation Youth and their families. Some nights, weekends and holidays may be required for special events and camps. Assistantship salary is determined by Graduate Office and is contingent on start date; a 9-month, 20 hour per week schedule, plus health insurance and other fringe benefits available.
