We welcome your expertise and experience.

The Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement is focused on advancing working or re-entering adults in their careers and life goals. We develop programs, courses and customized curriculums across a wide range of situations, including continuing education, professional development and enrichment. We also value the experience and expertise within our community as leaders in overcoming the challenges faced by regional industries.

Areas of Demand

Our Certificate Programs cover a broad range of topics for adults to explore new career or industry opportunities in an accessible way or to deepen their knowledge of a topic and walk away with a valuable credential in the form of a badge and/or certificate. We also create and plan conferences and workshops that often require session leaders. The topics and industries in which we need instructors are always changing, so we are always interested in hearing from potential candidates from all fields. Below are some common themes, although this is in no way exhaustive.

  • Cultivating Leadership Acumen
  • Expanding Communication Skills
  • Sharpening Strategic Planning
  • Developing a Culture of Accountability
  • Building Multicultural Environments
  • Improving Employee Retention
  • Resolving Conflict
  • Tapping into Emotional Intelligence
  • Coaching for Remote Teams
