Accelerated Master's Programs (AMP)
AMP UP Your Degree!
Get your master's faster by earning credit toward your master's degree as an undergrad.
Employees with a master's degree earn about 20% more than their peers with just bachelor's degrees, experience lower unemployment rates and enhance the ability to move into leadership positions. Our accelerated programs mean you'll get there faster by earning graduate credits as an undergraduate. Plus, you'll pay undergraduate tuition, so you'll save money and time.

How to Apply
We recommend meeting with your academic advisor and/or graduate program chairs before you apply to an accelerated program to ensure it matches your professional goals.
1 Meet Eligibility Requirements
In order to be considered for most accelerated programs, you'll need to:
- be an admitted UW-Green Bay undergraduate degree-seeking student.
- have at least junior standing to apply. Exceptions may be made for transfer students.
- carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Office of Graduate Studies sets minimum standards; please keep in mind Education and RN-BSN-MSN have different requirements.
2Complete the Admissions Form
Apply for entry to an accelerated program by completing the Accelerated Master's Program admission form. You'll need to provide a copy of your unofficial transcripts, write a 250-word statement describing your professionals goals and how the accelerated program will help you achieve them and ask a faculty member to provide recommendation. The form will then be routed to the faculty member and graduate program chair and the Office of Graduate Studies.
Mind the Details
You've got goals; we're here to help you reach them. Make sure you understand the details of accelerated programs.
How to Enroll in Graduate Courses
Graduate courses in the catalog are marked with the pound sign (#). For every semester you intend to enroll in a graduate course, you'll need to complete the Accelerated Course Enrollment form.
Graduate Credits Earned
Most accelerated programs allow you to earn 15 graduate credits as an undergraduate. The programs that allow only 9 credits are Education, RN-BSN-MSN and any Business-related majors. Be sure to consult the individual catalog pages for additional details.
Follow Graduate Policies
You're still considered an undergraduate student so you can pay undergraduate tuition and retain financial aid. However, in your graduate courses, you'll need to follow graduate policies and procedures.
