Workday Learning

Workday learning is a centralized platform that allows employees to find, register for, be assigned, and complete required and optional learning in one place. Employees will have access to the learning catalog so you will be able to search for courses on your own to help build your skills. HR will be able to better track completion and maintain compliance. And, employees and supervisors will have access to the Learning Transcript.

Workday is already integrated with LinkedIn Learning and will be integrated with Vector for our safety and compliance trainings in the coming months.

Mandatory Employee Training will also take place in Workday which will allow all assignments and completions to be housed in one system. Please reference the Required Training webpage for more information.

Access Workday Learning

To access Workday Learning, please log into your Workday portal. From there, hover over the Personal icon on the left-hand menu and then click on Learning. Then click on Browse Learning where you can see the full UW and LinkedIn Learning catalog.

LinkedIn Learning (accessible through Workday Learning)

UW partners with LinkedIn to provide employees and students access to LinkedIn Learning’s library of professional development opportunities. This collaboration includes:

  • Expansion of the free use of LinkedIn Learning for UW-Green Bay faculty, staff, and students while providing professional development opportunities in areas such as technological literacy, customer service, public presentations, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Possibilities for the use of LinkedIn Learning by faculty as a co-curricular tool in courses or to map course content to LinkedIn courses as an affordable option for textbooks.
