About

Train-the-Trainer

Become the Instructor at Your Location

The Train-the-Trainer courses have been developed and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Bureau of Assisted Living and the Division of Quality Assurance, to offer an option for individuals without the required background to seek approval as Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) instructors. These courses provide participants with the program knowledge, training skills and curriculum to offer high-quality trainings within their own organizations.

For Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety and First Aid & Choking an online adult education component is required for all participants. This course take approximately three hours and must be completed prior to the start of the classes. There is no additional charge for the adult education component.

Wisconsin Caregiver Academy has been approved to conduct courses online until August 2020 because of COVID-19. Please click on an individual course link below for details.
