Cofrin School of Business Student Experiences by the Numbers 6 undergraduate majors (Accounting, Business Admin., Finance, HR Management, Management, Marketing) with 1290 students enrolled. +3 minors (Accounting, Business Analytics, International Business). +4 Certificates (Business Concepts, Digital Marketing and Sales Management, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management). +4 Emphasis areas (Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, General, Supply Chain Management). 3 Master’s degree programs (Impact MBA, Data Science, Management) with 120+ students enrolled. 33 to 1 student to instructor ratio in 2019-20 academic year in CSB, according to APS statistics platform. 90%25 of students say they would recommend the CSB to a friend or colleague according to a survey of CSB students in Spring 2020. Responses include Very Likely, Likely, and Somewhat Likely. Graduation and Beyond 228 Accounting and Business Administration graduates in class of 2019. 73%25 first to second year retention among all new freshmen at UWGB in Fall 2019. First Destination Survey: 73%25 of students were employed before graduation; 97%25 of students were employed after graduation; 8%25 of students continued their education after earning Bachelor’s Degree; Average starting salary of accounting majors was $51,280; Average starting salary of Business Administration majors was $46,242 (At the time of responding to survey. Data reflects only those students who responded to the First Destination Survey from Accounting and Busines Administration majors in the Class of 2019. Response rate of 84%25).  $52,025 in scholarships from the Cofrin School of Business awarded to students in 2019-20 in addition to their other UWGB financial aid. Where do our graduates get hired? Our Opportunities for hands-on learning 9 Student organizations in the School of Business (Accounting Student Association, Supply Chain Management, Collegiate DECA, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, Phi Beta Lambda, Student Association of Management, Student Finance Association, Society of Human Resource Management). 60+ business related events in 2020, such as company tours, guest speakers, and pitch competitions 18 student researchers on the STARS (Students Together Achieving Research Success) Team in the 3 semesters since it was founded, plus more student researchers assisting other faculty. 102 students participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) since the program started at UWGB in 2014 (may count some students twice if they enrolled in multiple semesters). Internships 88 CSB students had internships in 2019-20 academic year, leading to 18,850+ internship hours worked, positively impacting area communities and growing students’ networks. 63%25 of internships were paid positions in spring 2020 semester.
