You don't have to wait for Earth Day to harvest the latest sustainability news and events. Like us on Facebook or view our latest efforts by following us on Instagram. Our events are as varied as a field of wildflowers—so browse our garden of gatherings designed to educate, entertain and enact change. Earth Day is observed annually on April 22 to raise awareness for sustainability and demonstrate support for environmental protection. At Eco U, we celebrate all month long! Join us with these events to celebrate the Earth.

Tue. 4/2 You can make an impact on your communities! Get out and vote this Earth Month to show your support for causes close to both your home and heart.

Compost Giveaway

Sat. 4/20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Wood Hall Parking Lot
Free compost to anyone in the community who is interested. Bring your own buckets, bins, or truck beds, and take as much as you can shovel!

Shorewood Park Clean-up

Mon. 4/22, 3 p.m.-5 p.m., Shorewood Park
Walk Shorewood Park and pick up any trash along the way! Start at the Shorewood Center for gloves and grabbers.

Green Roof Weeding

Thu. 4/25, 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Student Services Plaza
Stop by, say hi, and help pull weeds to keep our green roof's sedums thriving.

Electronics Recycling Drop-off

Sat. 4/27, 2 p.m.-5 p.m., Weidner Parking Lot C
All are welcome to recycle personal electronics for free! Registration is required.
