FAFSA stands for "Free Application for Federal Student Aid." The FAFSA is available October 1 for the following academic year. You must apply each year you're seeking aid. Our FAFSA Federal school code is 003899.

Not all financial aid applicants get selected for verification, but some do. It's nothing you did wrong, it's just something the U.S. Department of Education requires.
Verification Forms
Maybe you lost your aid. Maybe you need more aid. Perhaps you or a parent are facing a substantial income reduction. Or maybe your college costs changed. These appeal forms will allow you to request special consideration for your aid eligibility.
After you accept a federal direct student loan, you need to complete entrance counseling and sign a master promissory note.
If you are receiving other sources of educational assistance (scholarships, veteran's benefits), you must report them to the Financial Aid Office.
If you're planning to graduate from UW-Green Bay but are taking classes at another school, you need a Consortium Agreement to receive financial aid for the credits you transfer.
This one-time authorization will allow your financial aid to pay for most (not all) charges found in SIS, like your books!
For consideration of summer loans or summer work study, complete the newest FAFSA and this summer aid application, available in March of each year.
