When we say in-house, we mean it! Printing books on campus helps students learn about book design through all phases of production, from client document to physical prototype to bound and printed book.
Willa stores all of our documents at the Press. It also has a number of programs used in the book editing/production process, such as InDesign and Adobe Suite products.
Robespierre clamps down on different-sized stacks of paper, as well as adjusts distances for perfect cuts. Protected by a shield, the super sharp blade pulls down with laser precision.
Named for the shark in "Jaws," Bruce the binder scores the edges of the spine, applies glue to the edging and presses a cover to the finished product. Bruce perfect binds, and can also create cover-free notebooks.
The Ricoh printer is our printer and scanner. Rico holds three different sizes of paper and stores/shares documents and files with Willa.
