Enrollment & Degree Verifications

You can request enrollment and degree verifications through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC).
UW-Green Bay’s school code is 3899.

Enrollment Verification

Enrollment verifications include:

  • Dates of attendance
  • Enrollment status (full time, half time, etc.) during each term
  • Degrees awarded

Degree Verification

Degree verifications include:

  • Degree awarded
  • Major field of study
  • Conferral date

Need Grades or Courses?

If you need details like grades or specific courses, request an official transcript instead.

When to Contact Us

Email the Registrar’s Office if:

  • You don't have a Social Security Number (SSN) on file
  • You are a special or non-degree-seeking student
  • Your form requires information not included in NSC verifications

Current Students

If you're currently enrolled, access your verification through the NSC's Student Self-Service Portal, found under the Academic Records tile in your SIS homepage. Detailed instructions are provided below.

  1. Log in to SIS.
  2. Select the Academic Records tile from your homepage.

  3. Select Enrollment Verification from the navigation bar on the left side of the page.

If your Social Security Number (SSN) isn't on file or you are a special/non-degree-seeking student, self-service verification won't be available. If you need a verification that cannot be provided through NSC or an official transcript, you may contact the Registrar's Office at registrar@uwgb.edu for assistance.

Need an Official Seal or Stamp?

Bring your verification form or letter to the Student Services Center at SS1100 on the Green Bay Campus.
