Event Scheduling
Tips to remember when scheduling your event
- Date and time: Where will the event happen and what time? Consider how the date fits into attendees' schedules.
- Location: Choosing a venue is the one decision that will have the largest impact on your event. In most cases, the other details can't be arranged until the venue has been decided.
- Type of event: Is it an enrollment event? A student event? It is beneficial to write it down and communicate it clearly.
- Event goal: What is your overall reason for hosting an event. For example, it could be to showcase student projects, a scholarship reception, etc.
- Audience: Audience types are meant to determine to whom an event should be directed. You need to clearly understand what expectations attendees have of the event.
