Marlene A. Buettner, 73, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home early Monday morning, October 14, 2013. Born May 13, 1940, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Donna Beauchamp. Marlene was very proud to be the first full time female custodian at UW-Green Bay, retiring in 1992 after 20 years of faithful service. She also was a foster care provider for ten years following her retirement. 

Marlene is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mike Arts; one son, Allan Buettner; two grandchildren, Nathan (Sarah) Arts and their children, MacKenzie, Kaiden and Madison; Christina Arts and her children, Jeremy and Jerion, all of Green Bay; other relatives and friends. 

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Beauchamp. 

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Monday, October 21, from 4pm until the time of the service. Memorial service 7pm, Monday at the funeral home with Chaplain Bob Nooker of Unity Hospice officiating.
