J-term Aid Permission Form
To ensure your J-Term balance is paid and avoid a late fee*, you may request a one-time authorization to use Spring Financial Aid towards your J-term balance. This form must be submitted by January 22, 2026 to be considered.
- Who should complete this form?
- Any student whose total anticipated Spring Financial Aid (grants, loans, scholarships) is enough to cover the Spring and J-term tuition and fees.
- You can view your total charges by logging in to SIS, selecting “Account Inquiry” on the left, and selecting the amounts for J-term and Spring
- Any student whose total anticipated Spring Financial Aid (grants, loans, scholarships) is enough to cover the Spring and J-term tuition and fees.
- What does this form do?
- It grants the institution permission to apply your excess Spring Financial Aid directly to your J-term balance
- What is the benefit?
- It ensures your J-term balance is covered by your anticipated aid
- You will be exempted from the J-term late payment fee.
- If your aid does not cover the full outstanding balance, you will receive the late fee
- If you make a personal payment for the difference between your aid and the balance, you can avoid the late fee*. (ex. If your charges are $3,000 and you are expecting $2,000 of financial aid, a $1,000 out of pocket payment and filling out this form will exempt you from the late fee)
*The Billing Office will review accounts after the Spring Financial Aid disbursement and apply a late fee waiver for students who have filled out this form and who meet the above criteria.
